Our Lady holding Jesus as He accepts flowers from the shepherd child

Welcome to our intercessory prayer ministry for families, babies, little ones and those who love them.

In our prayers for families, we pray for the sanctity of all life and for vocations to marriage, the priesthood and consecrated life, which are born and nurtured in families.

The
Prayer of Entrustment to Mary was prayed for this ministry at the icon of the Madonna Salus Populi Romani (Salvation of the Roman People, Our Lady of Good Health) in the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore (Basilica of Mary Major) in Rome, Italy, in Nossa Senhora do Rosario da Fatima (Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary) in Fatima, Portugal, in Eglise du Sacre-Coeur (Sacred Heart Parish Church), the site of St. Bernadette's baptismal font, in Lourdes, France and at The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts at the Shrine of the Holy Innocents before Our Lady of Guadalupe and at Basilica Papale de San Pietro in Vaticano (St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City) at the Tomb of St. John Paul II in Rome, Italy and at the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Basilica of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe) in Mexico City, Mexico.

This ministry is consecrated to Jesus Christ, Wisdom Incarnate, through the hands of Mary and dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. In our prayers to Mary, we honor and worship her Son Jesus. When He was on the Cross, He gave His Mother to John and she became our Mother as well. "Behold, your Mother." John 19:27

Reflection: The Light of the World...

During this beautiful season of Advent, we wait with expectant hope for the Blessed Holy Night and the birth of the Baby Jesus, the Light of the World. The star of Bethlehem illuminated the sky above where He lay, the little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.

O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining; it is the night of our dear Savior's birth.

Jesus came to bring light into the world.  How can we prepare our hearts as we await His birth?  How can we bring light into our hearts? We can go and visit Him, as the shepherds were the first to do.  Where can we visit Him? We can stop into a church or chapel and sit before the tabernacle. Jesus is there waiting for you.  We can go to Eucharistic Adoration.  Jesus is present on the altar, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. What happens when we sit with Him during Eucharistic Adoration? Jesus pours His light and love into our hearts.  He prepares our hearts for His coming.  Do you want to have a heart prepared for Jesus on Christmas morning?  He is waiting for you to come to receive the beautiful Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining, 'til He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

My pastor spoke of these words and how beautiful it is to meditate on the words of Christmas songs. When you are in sin and error, come to Jesus in Confession.  When you have an encounter with Him in this beautiful Sacrament, your soul will feel its worth.  If you have not been to confession in a while, ask Our Lady to accompany you.  She is your beautiful and loving Mother and she will help you.  The priest will welcome you and he will help you, if you do not remember what to do. Run to Jesus and pour out your heart to Him.  You will receive forgiveness, mercy, healing and peace. He will pour out His Light and Love upon you.

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Jesus is the Light of the World.  Open your heart and let Him shine His Light upon you, let him love you and heal you.  He is waiting for you to come away with Him and He will give you rest...

Fall on your knees and hear the angel voices.  O night Divine, O night when Christ was born.  O night Divine, O night, O night Divine.
